After parking in the St-Julien de Gras-Capou town hall parking lot, stroll along a path between two hills before beginning the ascent that takes you next to the Pic d'Estelle, from where you have a magnificent view of the Pyrenees.
The name of the village, which is mentioned in a document from 1319: "Sancto Juliano de grasso capone" evokes the peaceful life of a rural village where poultry, and capons in particular, were harvested.
