About
Let yourself be charmed by the gorges of Péreille and the surrounding hills. Limestone outcrops are everywhere, and peregrine falcons and Egyptian vultures can sometimes be seen nesting here.
The Gorges de Péreille were carved out of the limestone by the Douctouyre River, and were once the site of a bauxite deposit. A mecca for hikers and climbers, it's also a great place to observe the local flora and fauna. It's an ideal place for a family outing, with a fun and educational trail to discover the origins and history of the site. This pleasant circuit lets you stroll along the path and learn more about biodiversity.
