The Tour de Fougax is a beautiful hike that passes mostly through a wooded area and offers good views of the surrounding area at the highest points of the walk.
The trail, a narrow dirt road, leaves the accrobranche park to the west and climbs gradually to a height of 650 meters to a large Durenat house. After the Col du Balussou (847m), a much more pleasant track takes you to a house called Barthole, which offers fine views. The track descends towards Fougax and Barrineuf, then continues on to Fougax. From here, a wide forest track takes you back to the intermittent Fontestorbes fountain.
