Just 10 minutes from the Château de Montségur, "La Maison de Papy" dates back to 1950 and is located in the center of this lively little village. It's great to see the children playing in the schoolyard opposite the gîte. The garden, planted with trees and flowers, is a veritable showcase of greenery. It is proudly maintained by Martine, the owner. It is laid out on different levels, offering everyone the chance to take a relaxing break or share moments of conviviality: reading, playing games, swimming or napping in the shade on the bank of the river at the bottom of the garden. Activities abound in this Cathar region: skiing at the Monts d'Olmes ski resort (30 mi.), Montségur village and castle (10 min.), Roquefixade castle (30 min.), Foix and Mirepoix (30 min.).
