About
Montségur castle was built in 1206... Legend has it that Montségur was the place of refuge for the last Templars, after the order was suppressed by Pope Clement V.
The Cathar treasure trove has always been a source of inspiration, and it has often been claimed that on the eve of the attack on Montségur castle, a number of knights set off with the Grail, parchments and other precious objects for safekeeping.
