Camon's first priory church probably existed from the very beginning. However, the present building was erected in the early 16th century on the initiative of Philippe de Lévis.

It features a single nave, a canted chevet and two 17th-century side chapels. A spiral staircase leads up to the square bell tower. Over the years, thanks to the various priors who have worked to restore and embellish the church, it has become home to furniture of exceptional quality. These include the 17th-century tribune, 17th- and 18th-century wooden stalls, various priestly objects, several paintings, modern stained glass windows partially restored in the 19th century, and the 18th-century gilded wood and marble high altar and tabernacle.
